MEET THE FOUNDERS

If you’ve visited our stores, you’ve likely met Marcelo, our CEO, store manager, and the true embodiment of good vibeS.

With a background in hospitality, he spent seven years managing a bustling restaurant in Watsons Bay, Sydney, before transitioning to fresh produce management at a local not-for-profit. Along the way, Marcelo deepened his connection to the land through the WWOOF Winter Program with Bill Mollison (the father of permaculture) in Tasmania, followed by studies in Permaculture Design with Geoff Lawton, and a course in Conservation and Land Management.

These experiences fundamentally shaped Marcelo’s relationship with food, farming, and community — guiding how we work with local growers and how we show up in the region. He brings people together not just for a good chat, but to build meaningful, regenerative connections rooted in respect for land and season.

Behind the scenes, our founders Clara, Marina, and Rodrigo bring their own diverse talents to the mix.

Clara is an architect with a Master of Business Administration in Sustainability. Applying her expertise, she contributed to shaping both the business and its physical spaces, designing an environment where sustainability isn’t just a concept but a lived experience. Every detail is intentionally crafted to inspire customers, ensuring all elements reflect the principles of sustainability and holistic well-being, creating an experience that supports a healthy lifestyle.

Rodrigo, our CFO, brings an analytical and operational background to the team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s in Project Management and a diploma in Sustainable Operations, he combines strategic planning with a deep commitment to sustainable business practices. His expertise ensures the company remains financially resilient while staying true to its mission.

Marina is our Marketing & Creative Director and the guiding force behind the Wellness Store. She holds a degree in Marketing & Communication and has specialised in Creativity, Innovation & New Business and Digital Marketing. For over 15 years, she worked in award-winning advertising agencies until a deep inner calling led her to walk away from selling what didn’t align with her values.

Her path turned toward energetic healing and holistic health, leading her to become a yoga and meditation teacher, Reiki Master, astrologer, and Akashic Records guide. Marina now merges her passion for empathic communication, spirituality and wellness to shape the voice, vision, and soul of Good Vibes — inviting others into a more intuitive, aligned, and nourishing way of living.

Together, they opened Good Vibes Organics in 2021 with the vision of expanding access to certified organic food and holistic wellness in the Northern Rivers — and building a community rooted in integrity, connection, joy, and care for people and the planet.

“Every piece of furniture in our stores was hand-built by us, using repurposed hardwood from a property we helped a friend demolish and got gifted the wood —talk about good Karma. The wood came from a place at The Rainbow Temple property, it couldn’t get any more magical! Adding an extra layer of spirit and meaning to everything we’ve built here.” says Rodrigo.
